Get to know KIIT university , Bhubaneshwar from a fresher's perspective.

Overall Rating
The college life in KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is one of the best college. Events are held pretty often. The entire University has greenery everywhere. Although the mess and hostel fee is pretty less as compared to other private college’s fee but the food in the mess is not so good at times. In hostel each floor has separate warden and each hostel have head warden.
 

Academics Rating
The academics in KIIT deemed to be university is same as all other college in India. Same curriculum is conducted here. The lecture is held for 1hr and lab classes are conducted for 2 hrs. Each week there is sports and yoga class held to keep you in proper shape. If you come in top 1000 in KIITEE (entrance exam to get in kit) you get scholarship of 10k/month. If you come in top 3 in mid semester, you get scholarship of 5-10k for 1st sem.
 

Faculty Rating
Almost all the faculty in the University are IIT, NIT graduates and some of them have also completed their education abroad. I personally found the teacher quality to be pretty good. The teachers are helpful in overall perspective and not just studies. In the first year you get a mentor, whom you can contract for any problem that you face in college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of each building in the college is beautiful and some of them are marvelous. The campus of KIIT is very big and there is greenery everywhere. You get 24/7 wifi connection throughout the University with good internet speed. Each class room in each building has AC facility and smart board for easy teaching.
 

Campus Rating
The entire University is well constructed and has great infrastructure. There are many food courts to eat, drink on the go and it’s pretty much affordable. The food quality in food court is good and has variety of things. The whole University comprises of total 13 different school of different courses those include KSoM, KSoL, KIMS and many more. For easy travel from hostel to campus there are Electronic vehicles available.

    I had already decided to opt for a private engineering college and KIIT was the most superior option because of its proximity from my house, its placement cell, and overall campus life. Faculty is experienced, student exposure is also quite good and the general crowd is better than that of other places. Hostels are clean, however pretty strict.     KIIT is one of the best institutes in the whole eastern India. The biggest thing that made me to choose this particular institute is its academic, sports, and extracurricular activities. KIIT is equipped with great and highly qualified faculty. The hostel facilities are given as per the students needs.     I joined this college in 2023 as everyone is trying to get into any NIT/IIT, but it is not everyone's cup of tea. I also did not able to score well in the joint entrance examination. I joined this college because firstly it was very near my hometown and my elder brother suggested me to join this college as he is also passed out from here only.... Read Full Review
