My Personal Experience of ABN Seal College

Overall Rating
Formerly known as Victoria college, was renamed after a famous philosopher, scholar and polymath Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal in 1970. The college is known for its excellent academics, literature, sports, teaching learning process and usage of advanced technologies for experiments. It is also a NAAC accredited A+ college and guarantees overall development of students.
 

Academics Rating
The college offers wide range of undergraduate programs ranging from Arts to Science and Commerce. It also has post graduate courses for Zoology. Anyone with 50-55% aggregate in 10+2 and 60% in the specific subject can opt for their preferred subject. Entry and registration is done through the online website of ABN Seal College and if you want to pursue this subject for much higher studies, this college is the best.
 

Faculty Rating

Yes, we do have a placement cell and every year, they help us with mocks, organize workshops and provide guidance for future.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has both girl’s and boy’s hostel. They are huge and can accommodate many students. Rooms are available in double and triple beds. Food is available twice a day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Though the college was established in 1888, infrastructure is still well maintained. The college has a large central library which consists of wide variety of books, novel, and biographies and also conducts seminars and coaching facilities for various exams such as UPSC, PSC, and WBSC. The departments of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany have well equipped laboratories. The college also has seminar halls for conducting workshops, has gymnasiums and playgrounds.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is vivid with balance of extracurricular and academics. Fests are held every year along with academic events such as competitions, workshops, and art and craft fests. Everyone in this college is friendly and is very welcoming. Overall they are fun and helpful.
