My Opinion over Daulat Ram College

Overall Rating
First of all this is a North campus and every Delhi University student wants north campus because of their faculty, and facilities and for more exposer. In North campus, you see the diversity and learn many new skills.
 

Academics Rating
I am from a Science background, who is pursuing B.Sc (Hons.) Zoology. For enrolling in this course, you have to score good marks in 12th grade with PCB stream. My motive for taking admission in this course was the interest to learn about Human Physiology and Zoology subject itself.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of our college or my courses is excellent and very supportive. They are well qualified and their teaching style is very good. They focus on every student and help them in their studies. Hence, teaching staff is good and co-operative.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell in our college. They are very active. Our college placements are quite decent. Every year, our college gives opportunity in many recruiting companies that come to our college. They also conduct the workshops to prepare students for recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
In our college hostel facilities are also available. Infrastructure of our hostel is good. Many facilities are available like RO, AC, meals, Wi-Fi facilities, etc. Hostlers can also engage in the sports.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of our college is good. We have sports complex, lawn, garden and different department wise buildings, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The labs are spacious and air conditioned. The campus also has well maintained library. Whole campus is facilitated with internet facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus crowd is good in evening. The fests are organized along with other events. We also have our departmental society named Koshika which organizes events like annual conference (where many speaker session and big scientists are invited as guest) and many workshops. Overall campus life is good but quite hectic.

    It’s been 1 year in DRC now and honestly I have lived one of the best years of my life in this college. Although, the college is not as hyped as others but it provides all the facilities that a college should. It’s a girls’ college. This college is really great where students come to study from various cultural backgrounds. I opted this college as I wanted to study Psychology; and in DU only few colleges offer Psychology.     My overall experience is very good in this college. I chose this college because of its infrastructure, its NIRF ranking, and societies. This college’s fee is more than other colleges. You should go to this college because the teachers and seniors are very helpful, organisation of fests and other activities are full of fun and enjoyment.     If I talk about my college, in the beginning I didn't like it but when I spent my time I came to know that it is the best college of north campus. The faculty members, the students, and the non teaching staff are polite and they help us in each condition without any hesitation.     Daulat Ram College is located in North Delhi and is a part of North Campus. Having the best campus facility. College is clean, safe, and eco friendly. Our faculty i.e. Philosophy department is the best. They coordinate very well with students and are very helpful in every field. They support and guide us like our own parents.     Overall the college is great from faculty to administration to infrastructure all of it pretty impeccable. It provides you with all that you could expect from a good college and on top of it, it is a part of one of the most reputed university in India that is University of Delhi. DRC is really awesome....
