Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College Real Life Experience

Overall Rating
The college is good. Infrastructure is above average. Construction is going on in majority portion of the college. Faculty is well trained and experienced. Management and the principle are strict. Fees are affordable and facilities are good. Canteen is a bit expensive as compared to other DU colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued B.Com Program as it is one of the most demanding courses in Delhi University. Hence, the competition is high. The course structure is updated and the college follows NEP. We have to study other subjects like sports, leadership, environmental studies in different semesters so that we could gain real life knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is well trained and experienced. They are mostly Ph.D holders or are pursuing Ph.D. They are quite friendly (exceptions are always there😉). Otherwise, they support students and their needs. Classes are taken regularly and they motivate us to be a part of different societies and be indulged in co-curricular activities.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are average. The median package this year was 6.5 LPA. The highest one was 21.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No, hostel provided. But PG’s and Flats are all around the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has 6 blocks. It has computer labs, geography labs, seminar rooms, discussion rooms, girl’s common rooms, etc. It is well equipped. The only drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi. Library is too well equipped and is spacious. There is a garden, sports ground, benches, etc. Overall the campus is quite good.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is very good. Most students are from UP and Bihar. But they are very friendly. Fests are not conducted often. Societies only conduct their cultural fests. There is ‘n’ number of societies. Be it for Dance, Drama, Music, Sports, Debate, Fashion, Consulting, etc. Other activities are also conducted.

    Overall experience of this DU’s south campus based college is good. It is one of the best average colleges to choose from. Others should go to this college for the excellent academics, faculty and exposure environment to a practical world. It has one of the great education and extra curriculum activities relevant to sports, finance, and business.     Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is now one the best colleges of Delhi University, it is located in South Delhi. It is an extension to the Bhagat Singh Morning College but is a separate college sharing same campus area.
