Honest Review about Jadavpur University

Overall Rating
Jadavpur University is one of the best universities in Kolkata and also in the world. All the faculties and professors are very helpful and kind & always ready to teach you what you want. Placement cell is the main attraction of this university.
 

Academics Rating
Professors give their best in classes and also ready to help you whenever you need them. You've to just contact them. Regular classes and exams are held by every department. Department library plus central library are available every time for collecting books. HODs are very responsible.
 

Faculty Rating
Every faculty has their own kind of management. Not only mine department's faculty is good but the every other department is so generous. Though I'm not a fan of literature but their faculty management has made me fall in love with the subject which I've studied as my AECC subject.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is managed by well known authorities. Every year a huge number of Students got placed in well known companies with a huge amount of LPA. It means they have a great future in this university.
 

Hostel Rating
Though I don't stay in hostel but I've heard about the hostel so much. They lead a much secured life because there is 24 hours security system in both the boy's and girl's hostel. The food that is given to them is also tasty and healthy. Overall the hostel is a decent place for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are departmental libraries and also Central Library for the every student. You can easily get any book that you want to read. There is also UG Science Building, PG Science Building. Engineering Buildings are also separated from each other with their labs and also Mechanical tools.
 

Campus Rating
In one line I just love my campus life so much. The canteen, friends group and generous teachers made me to fall in love with the campus. I got every kind of help from the authorities also. They didn't hesitate to help me whenever I went to them.

    Our university is a tier 1 state public university with NIRF 2024 rank 12th in Engineering Category. Placement is very good (up to 100%) in some departments like Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, etc. Overall placement was 95% last year.     The overall experience of the university is superb. I'll describe each aspect in the later section but here let me give an outline of my experience. Jadavpur University offers the best ROI in India, the fees is just 2400 and getting an average placement of 10 LPA (20 LPA for CSE). There's no 75% attendance policy, 45-50% is enough.     Jadavpur University is a well reputed university located in the main city of Kolkata. With NIRF ranking of 12 in Engineering, 9 in Universities and 17 in overall category as of 2024, it is certainly one of the best universities in India.     Jadavpur University is a State University placed in Kolkata, West Bengal. The university is very good and is run by alumnus’ funding; that’s why the fee structure of the curriculum is very minimal. For getting admission in this university, you have to score good in WBJEE.     Jadavpur University is highly rated in NIRF ranking. Other than that I had taken a look at the faculty of Economics and came to know that almost every teacher had a PhD degree from a renowned university.
