Overall Rating
The campus is in between the mountains and greenery all around. College was established on 1968 and till now its producing great doctors. The campus life is quite fun here. The campus has a very old and great heritage so you can choose the college and do your MBBS course from one of the best college in India.
 

Academics Rating
MBBS course is of 5.5 years. For admission we have to give NEET-UG examination and score decent marks of 600 / 720 and sit in the counseling process after getting shortlisted you have to report to the college with required documents. Eligibility criteria are that the candidate has to be NEET qualified and shortlisted in counseling process.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty to student ratio is quite good. The teachers are very approachable and very helpful. The teaching methods here are quite interesting as well as interactive. We get to learn very much from our teachers and we respect them. The course is according to the NMC guidelines and teachers teach according to it only.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is available in the campus. The hostel is very much affordable with a fee of Rs.144 yearly. The mess food is also average and there are also others private mess that can be joined.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The NBMC campus is the biggest medical college campus in west Bengal. The academic block is quite big with all the departments and lecture theatres that are all well equipped with air conditioners. The library has a huge collection of books as well as it is fully air conditioned. The hospital is just behind the academic block and is easily reachable.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really fun. Annual fest organised here is Plasma and the academic fest is Numescon. Plasma is one of the biggest fests among the colleges of West Bengal. There are many sports clubs and music bands in the college. We also celebrate Saraswati Pooja, Kali Pooja as well as Eid in the campus with great enthusiasm.

    North Bengal Medical College is a government medical college only in northern side of the state. It established in the year of 1968. It's a 200 MBBS seat college which is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Science.
