My Life at GMC Jagdalpur

Overall Rating
I gave NEET UG 2023 and got this college at a rank of 15614 out of 22 lakh students who appeared for exam. This college has better academics as compared to other colleges of Chhattisgarh. The environment is very good here.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing MBBS after which I will be a doctor. You have to crack NEET UG to get admission in my college. You will have a good internship as the college has its own hospital. The patient count is good here and you will be a good experienced doctor.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 5 to 10 faculties for each subject. All the professors are well qualified doctors. Some uses presentations and others use green board and chalk for teaching the students. They have interactive classes. You will be involved in small group teachings, self directed learning and monthly competition tests.
 

Placement Rating
India is deficient in doctors so obviously you will get a placement after doing MBBS from a government medical college. You have to fulfill a rural service bond according to which you have to work in a rural area for 2 years and you will be paid 1lakh to 1.5 lakh per month.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, within the campus there is girls as well as boys hostel. You have to pay an annual fee of 3000 for the hostel and have to share the hostel room with one of your classmate. The washrooms are common but the hostel is clean, no issue with hygiene and 3 messes for food are available which provide both veg and non veg food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College has three large lecture theatres equipped with projectors and screen but they lack air conditioning and mic. There are libraries that are well equipped with all the books a medico can require. A large hospital is within the campus which holds a good patient count for all the departments.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good here but lacks in extracurricular activities. All the festivals are celebrated. Like Ganesh Chaturthi (7 days fest) includes Dj Night, Bollywood Night, Game Day and Massive Bhandara. Navratri Celebration, sports week, and other events also take place in the campus.
