Those who want to get admission to this University, especially in the science stream, have to work hard in their HSC. I chose this University because I belong to a family that was not financially stable. Getting admission to a prestigious University like Maharaja Sayajirao University was my dream. Many foreigners also opt for this University due to its rich heritage and name in Top Universities. The university area is too large, and each stream is divided. Management is very supportive in case you need help in the admission process. M.S. University offers different degrees but the cutoff to get admission is too high. I did my B.Com and M.Com from this University with 65% in my HSC. But I came across the cutoff of other streams like BBA and BCA, then scoring 60% or below will not work for anyone. Besides, candidates have to appear in the entrance exams to get a seat. On the contrary, there are numerous opportunities, and this University consists of all the academic courses and extracurricular activities that helped me stay confident. Additionally, middle-class families opt for this University because of its convenient fee structure. Those who want to get admission to this University, especially in the science stream, have to work hard in their HSC, and I don't feel this can be the case for the average students who want to do engineering. Do you know? Some years ago, M.S. University degree means a lot to companies also at the time of hiring people but nowadays, due to its competitors, hiring companies also focus on the knowledge of candidature. This is the biggest drawback for MSUB. I know a few faculties who were very supportive to the alumni like Sankalp Pradhan Sir even the UGS and V.P. also take special interest in solving students' problems.

Semesters end with internal and external exams. In other streams, practical, viva, project submission also takes place each semester. In my opinion the best thing about this University is that professors don't wait for the candidate that all are present or not. They just focus on the alumni who came to attain the class and assist them personally for future growth. In this University, brilliant students do not like to waste their time in the garden or somewhere else. They participate and get engaged with highly educated faculty. You can easily get study materials from the Xerox center, which is located in each department. The candidates are allowed to opt for an internship in the same field, where they can get practical knowledge from their choice of company, and ultimately that project helps alumni to be more practical in life. Besides these, there are two huge libraries; I used to borrow my reference book from that library. Most of the faculties are retired from the government service sector and hold doctorate degrees. Some faculties are very supportive, but some are rude as well. I have done my practical project and am glad that some teachers were there to support me throughout the projects. After the lecture, you can even approach the professors if you have some doubts and seek some career advice. Faculties I have met even share real-life stories to keep the alumni active and motivated for their careers. They get connected to the students who attend the lecture daily.

MSU gave their students almost some of the exceptional opportunities. Placement cells come there with a package of Rs. 6 to 10 Lakhs per annum. Some of the country's biggest companies search for new energies that will fill their gap in achieving better profit altogether. You will be informed prior to when MSU is about to conduct the campus placement. You need to fill out the form online and submit it to the head office. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and L&T, and many more huge MNCs become part of this University for placement every year.

Many candidates are coming far away who enroll themselves in this University. Our University provides the students with standard hostel facilities categorized into girls' and boys' hostels, but the hygiene factor is missing. What is more important to note is the friendly behaviors of the wardens and other staff members of the hostels that I personally experienced as one of my friends used to share the condition of her hostel. Separate canteens are allotted to all hostels. Additionally, the food is served at an affordable price. Hotel fees are also low so that anyone can afford them. It will range from around Rs. 500 to 1000 per year.

The institution is genuinely provided with excellent infrastructural facilities to the students. The two enriched libraries with updated journals and books, the big auditoriums where alumni conduct different seminars and activities, the highly efficient labs, playgrounds, and buildings for the students to have recreational opportunities are some of the few examples of the vast infrastructure of the University. Classrooms are enormous but not kept well maintained. The walls are not painted from so long. There are plenty of playgrounds, and the University has produced some of the best university teams over the years.

I observed an eco-friendly and green college campus that I always wanted to sit and discuss with my friends. If you are a hygienic person, this place is not for you because garbage or dustbin can be seen everywhere. Most students are not serious about their future growth and leave college before graduation. The number of dropouts in MSU is quite high. I thought I had a great time as I participated in many college activities and was appreciated by faculty and my fellow classmates for that.
