My experiences at MCM DAV College for Women

Overall Rating
Overall the college is excellent and is great for Bachelor of Computer Application as per my experience. The faculty is great and also the campus. In campus I would say the washrooms are also good. Also several activities and fests are also organised which are held by different departments of college which are very fun.
 

Academics Rating
This course is an excellent course for students to pursue after commerce stream especially if you want to go in IT field in order to gain some skills and develop new and interesting projects which could be added to your resume. In fact I would say that it is a course which has great scope in future also as everything is digital nowadays so this line is very good and interesting for students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is excellent. The teachers are very helpful and teach us so well. They gives us interesting projects to explore through which we learn new skills which is very important for us to develop as in this field we need to be updated with the current technology in use.
 

Placement Rating
As per the reviews I have listened, the placements are good. As right now I am in 3rd year so don't know much.
 

Hostel Rating
I don't know about the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good. There are well installed Air Conditioners in labs and also the systems on which we have to work. Washroom facilities are also good. In normal rooms we have coolers installed so that in summers students and the teacher don't go through a hard time. Every necessary facility has been provided to us.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. There were three canteens before but now there are four and the food is also good. Different fests and events are also organised in the college and proper arrangements are made by the college authorities during these fests.

    It’s very safe for women and its environment is very comfortable. It provides lot of opportunities to showcase your talent. Its number 2 in Chandigarh. It is an extremely prestigious institution, providing good education. Sustainable development is practiced here and almost 60% of the electricity is used from the solar panels.... Read Full Review

    Overall college is good, the faculty is helpful and crowd in the college is friendly. Also, the college has good collection of books in library. NSS and NCC societies are also available here.     This college has very good reputation in the city and is very well reputed among the residents here. Generally to take admission into this college you require high scores. It is affiliated to Punjab University which is considered among Top Universities in North India. Students here come from different states but mostly the students are from Chandigarh itself....
