My Thoughts on PGGS, Chandigarh

Overall Rating
I have got admission in Post Graduate Government College in sector 11 co-ed Chandigarh under Panjab University. I have chosen this college because of its wide range in degree courses and all facilities available. This is a popular college in every field and was founded in 1953. It offers students to not only improve their degree related knowledge but also add on skills.
 

Academics Rating
Panjab University is among top university in India. Panjab University heads various colleges. One among the colleges is Post Graduate Government College. It is best government college in Chandigarh. It offers highly recommend courses at a reasonable fee. Students from various states engage in admission process for studying in this college. It's offers degree courses in bachelor's and master's and PhD.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers and staff of PGGC are very coordinative and helpful to students. They give their 100 percent to students in their subjects. They also focus on giving practical knowledge and its application to students rather than teaching theory only. They teach in a way that is more interesting and interactive to students. They also provide their aid and support in other skill and knowledge enhancement activities to students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, in PGGS, there is placement cell. It is headed by professional teachers and head of departments and principal of college. It gives full knowledge and skills so that they can grab their dream jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities in the college. Hostel is in college only which is why students do not need to travel across and that to a safe environment. Hostels are managed by heads and wardens which give their best to protect the students. There is separate hostel for boys and girls. There is mess for students including other facilities like air conditioners, fans, coolers; table-chair, furnished rooms and washrooms are provided to students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is highly developed like it is build newly. Regular maintenance of college building, classrooms, gardens, swimming pool, sports department, auditorium, parking area, smart board facilities, girl’s common room and faculty rooms is done to keep up the quality of the infrastructure. Environment of college is best in all weathers.
 

Campus Rating
Campus of college is engaged with various activities each day. Campus has crowd even on normal day. It offers various acts by drama clubs by fests organized by students, teachers and big personalities are invited in these events. Eco club, NSS and NCC are highly active clubs for college activities.
