A comprehensive review for ADGIPS

Overall Rating
Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies is one of the prestigious and renowned institutes of GGSIPU. As I am currently enrolled in ADGIPS, the institute is well structured in its infrastructure and other facilities. The students of the institute are not only good academically but also in sports and other extra-curricular activities. The atmosphere of the college is very good as all students are hustling towards their goal making the institute’s environment competitive.
 

Academics Rating
The institute provides various integrated programs like B.Tech, BBA, and B.A.LL.B, respectively. To enroll in institute you need to give the JEE mains exam and then you have to fill out the counseling form for IPU. With around 80k to 90k, you can easily get CSE in this institute. The institute provides various branches and an updated curriculum which makes this institute a remarkable place to complete your graduation.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of ADGIPS comprises of well-qualified and highly educated professors, with good knowledge of their respective subjects. Some of the faculty is too supportive and understanding and some of them are strict which compensates for the constant environment in the institute for different kinds of students. Professors are regular and complete the syllabus on time without any delay. The HoD of each branch is good and supportive.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the institute that takes care of placements. There is also a society called E-cell which supports placements and entrepreneurship in the institute. The institute also has a strong alumni network which actively supportive and provides career opportunities to the students. The institute time to time conducts sessions of some successful personalities who give life lessons and tips for better future.
 

Hostel Rating
ADGIPS does not provide any hostel facilities but there are so many PGs available just a meter of distance from the institute so the students from outside Delhi don't have to worry about staying.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The ADGIPS has a big campus with five blocks with four floors which are divided according to year and course. The institute also has separate grounds for football, volleyball, and other sports. With updated systems well-maintained computer lab, the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled so you can use the internet from anywhere in institute. It has well maintained seminar halls, an auditorium, indoor games room, workshop, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good and strict as well with time-to-time functions, sessional, and 75% attendance criteria. There are many tech and cultural societies which make life fun here. Each year some renowned artist is invited in the fests and every winter a function is held for the fun of student’s. Time to time fun competition is also held in the institute. The environment is very inclusive with great collaboration and networking opportunities.

    Everyone knows that IP Institutions will never be their first pick for college in their career. However, if you ever end yourself at an IP Institution, particularly for B.Tech, welcome to this world. Currently, pursuing B.Tech at ADGIPS is an unusual experience. If you did not score well in JEE and do not want to take a drop-year, you can select this college. In my experience, practically all IP Colleges, with the exception of MAIT, are identical.     My college is quiet good if you are pursuing Engineering and wants to study law in here. If you want to do B.Tech in specialized courses like AIML, AIDS, and CST, then also you can consider this institute. All of these courses are available in here.     This institute was earlier known by the name Northern Indian Engineering College, but now it's renamed to Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies. I am doing B.Tech in CSE.     ADGIPS is a decent IPU college where you can pursue B.Tech, especially for CS, IT, ECE, and AI & ML courses. The college fees used to be around 1, 18,000 for the first year, and now it is 1, 49,600 after the enrollment of 2021 batch. ADGIPS has a great infrastructure as compared to other IPU colleges. It has two canteens, one Nestle kiosk and good sports facilities; though it lacks hostel accommodations. Students can find PGs in GTB Nagar which is just 20 minutes away from the campus.
