My honest views on TSSM's Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering and Research

Overall Rating
Overall experience in the campus is very good. I took this college because I got fewer score in CET that is Common Entrance Test taken by Maharashtra state board. So I took this college from management quota. For which I paid donation excluding fees. Others should come to this college because it is vast and green all over the campus and also it has a huge food court.
 

Academics Rating
The course curriculum is quite good. As I have chosen Information Technology stream because it has a wide scope in future. And many other opportunities also in foreign countries. Eligibility to get admission is to get more than 80 percentile in CET held by Maharashtra state board. After that there is online CAP round. You have appeared for it and if you are eligible you will be automatically selected.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of first year is quite average but still supportive. And helps you whenever you need help. The faculty is very good in teaching and supportive and as compared to 1st year 2nd year is little good.
 

Placement Rating
On campus Placements are available from 7th semester. Many companies visit the college for placement drive. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. visit the college. Such reputed companies arrive for placement. Selection is dependent on your skills. Every company has different round for selection.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is available only for girls. Facilities like washing machine, fridge, AC, Wi-Fi, etc. is available in the hostel. As well food facilities like breakfast and dinner is also available. Infrastructure of college hostel is quite old but full of facilities and student enjoy it a lot.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very huge. And also includes many branches like Pharmacy, Polytechnic, BCA, B.Tech, BE, etc. There is library for every specific institute having vast amount of books and many publications. Amenities like parking, food court and cafeteria are also available in the campus. Some buildings are old and some are new. Overall it's a very good campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus live is quite good. But most of the crowd is from rural areas. And the college is also located away from the main city on approx. 15-17 kms. Fest is held once a year and name of it is Nakshatra. There are many events celebrated throughout the year. No clubs are available in the college.

    The institute in which I am studying is the best for people who are coming from outside of Pune. They teach very good and also all the facilities they provide are top notch. The reason I chose this college is because it is near from my house and I had already visited the campus and I liked it a lot. Also, the infrastructure is very good.     BSCOER Pune has its own positive aura. The environment is very pleasant and happy. Every students has a cooperative mindset, as everyone has helping hands. Faculties of every other department are supportive and guide every student at every points. Overall college ambience is best among all the other colleges.
