Ramanujan College B.Com Review By Rohit Joshi

Ramanujan College is located in University of Delhi's South Campus. One thing which excites me more about this college is like it gives more opportunities to spread our wing in extracurricular activities (different domain including case competitions, speaker sessions, and TEDx talks to upgrade the skills of their students).

Presently, the college offers a total of 32 courses at undergraduate level in a full time regular mode. These include B.Com, BMS, BA (Hons.) in Economics, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Political Science, Applied Psychology, and B.Sc (Hons.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Statistics B.Com (Hons.) and also offers Vocational course like B.Voc in Banking and Software Development. The college also provides Add-on courses in Hindi Patrkarita and Radio Broadcasting. The eligibility for different courses is based on subjects studied at the 10+2 level.

All the faculty members of the college are well educated, highly qualified and assimilation of great knowledge. Most of them have done their Ph.D. The entire faculty pays more focus on building and restructuring the practical knowledge of the student rather than reading and explaining only the old curriculum.

Yes, we have the well established and hard working Placement and Career Development Cell who makes constant efforts in improving and enhancing the skill of the candidates and also organise various seminars, webinars and speaker sessions to make them ready for the industry outside their comfort zone.

Till now, there is no hostel facility provided by the Ramanujan College for their students but in future they are making and putting efforts to do so. Also college has collaboration with some PGs that provides reasonable and well furnished accommodation for the students who visited Delhi for the first time which is nearby the college campus.

The college is well equipped with all competitive and modern amenities including well structured computer labs, well maintained library which has good amount of academic books, newly build ventilated washrooms, football ground, volleyball ground, proper RO water, and more. Also one new building of the college is about to get ready within few months for the ease of students and teaching staffs.

I know one thing that makes the college memorable is their campus life. Honestly our college attracts the best brain of our country and give ample opportunities to them for their growth and innovation. The college has approx. 30+ Societies for developing the passion and to sharp the communication skills of the students. The college celebrates every year its annual fest called JOSH where people from colleges across Delhi participates and put great efforts for being in the top list. The college also provides mentoring sessions for guiding and motivating their students to the right path.
