Dyal Singh Evening college (A full - fledged day college)

Overall Rating
Dyal Singh Evening college is a full-fledged day college. It is a prominent college of Delhi University under South Campus. It is famous for its Arts and Culture society and Hons. courses. I can happily say that that college has helped me a lot in my personal and educational development.
 

Academics Rating
I have pursued English Hons. specialization in my BA degree as I have keen interest in reading literature & bulky Victorian novels. The favorite part of this course is that it opens up space to various career options. The course is very easy and it's not that tough to score CGPA if you are thorough with the text in your preferred syllabus.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the college is undoubtedly the best as they create such a friendly environment that it never feels like the class is of 1 hour. The HOD and the teachers are so down to earth and humble. They themselves have graduated from esteemed colleges like St. Stephens’s college, Jawaharlal Nehru University, etc. It feels so great to be mentored by them.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in college which provides both placements and internships. They have conducted back to back 7 successful internships with firms like Urban, Bajaj, Myntra and EY. They also provide internship opportunities through their Instagram.
 

Hostel Rating
No, we don't have any hostel facility available, but you can find PG’s nearby.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is great as it is spacious. We have an air-conditioned library, sports room, playground and NSS ground. The classroom is ventilated with proper lightning. We also have canteen that provides tasty food at affordable rates starting from 40 rupees. There are spacious rose gardens in our college that is has variety of roses.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is amazing but, it is not necessary that you will have friends around you always. The college organises fresher’s party for each department and the crowd of the college is above the average. There are many societies like Dance, Theatre, Fashion society, literary meditations, Indian knowledge system, etc.

    Dyal Singh Evening College is a college that comes under Delhi University, located in a posh area on Lodhi Road. JLN Metro Station (Jawahar Lal Nehru Metro Station) is the nearest metro station from our college. Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium is also near to Dyal Singh Evening College.     It gives you a school vibe sometimes. As for now 67% attendance is made mandatory to allow us to sit in examination. Rest of everything is nice. Teachers are very cooperative.     My overall experience in Dyal Singh evening college, University of Delhi is pretty amazing. It is one of the prestigious colleges of Delhi University. Right now, I am doing my B.Com (Hons.) degree from Dyal Singh. The quality of education they provide here is remarkable. One of the best about this college is its location which makes it even more enjoyable.   • A crowded college in Delhi
     

    Overall Rating
    The college is very good and has a good infrastructure. I am getting a great experience since I have joined the college as there is free Wi-Fi, a huge, air-conditioned Library and a big playground with volleyball court and a cricket pitch. There is a separate basketball court and gym facility is also available. There is also a rose garden giving positivity and making the mind fresh.
