The placements of the college are really good and the campus is ragging free. Also we get single room hostel from 2nd year (for boys). The seniors are friendly. The college is very safe for girls. I am currently pursuing Bachelors of Technology at NIT Jamshedpur in Electrical Engineering Branch. This is an Institute of National Importance. I have just completed my first year. Talking about my overall experience it is great till now. If you are not getting IIT's or top 3 NIT'S it would be a great choice as placement ratio and stats are very good in comparison to other NIT's. As this is a government based college, it is better than almost all the private colleges. It located in the industrial city of Jamshedpur. Its placement for the core branch is very good and even comparable to IITs. Apart from this, the coding culture is good too. I got into this college through JOSAA Counselling which is a counselling process consisting of six rounds. Thereafter, a special round of counselling known as CSAB counselling takes place.
