Yes there are many departments in our university but management and law department stands out. Admissions are easier than NLUs and fees too is affordable as a little over a lakh for a year which is even lesser than the private universities that don't provide placements or prepare students for the real world challenges.

To get hands on knowledge there can be no better place than ICFAI Dehradun. ICFAI arranges some of the best guest lectures, court rooms live case verdicts and all. Also anything can be added every semester which is out of syllabus as course material is updated almost every year here at ICFAI.

The best thing about them is that they don't dictate terms with students but rather put hands on their shoulders in time of crisis. Students are so friendly but only with the ones who show efforts else they are capable of calling a spade a spade. So, the only choice that students at ICFAI have is, to be in their professors good books or else you are gone.

Not so good as still this part of the University needs severe changes. Just a few companies who hires the lawyers for peanuts. An average salary for lawyers must be around 15-20 lakhs a year. Instead the average at the university is 5-6 lakhs. Yes, some do bag high package placements, but just a few.

Limited facility to be honest and therefore staying outside is rather a better choice. If you look at the number of outsiders and the number of rooms that hostels have, it is sparse.

Best looking campus among most of the private universities campuses. From tech enabled library and classrooms to grass banks in abundance, the university has everything to its fore. Canteen, auditoriums, amphitheatre and sports stadium. Yes, a food court would have made it all but never mind absolutely no complaints with the kind of campus that ICFAI University Dehradun has.

I am currently in my third year and can say that I am at utter peace with my campus life. Events are not mandatory to be a part of but those who want a skin in the game then yes events at ICFAI are for them. Most of the events are organised by student run societies and committees. To keep students engaged political debates and current affair debates are the best part as for student like me who are not into sports, showing memory muscle through these debates is the best way.
