JSS is considered the most reputable and first ranked college in AKTU counseling. Being a JSSatian is the most amazing thing. I choose this Institution as it holds good rank and is known for its placements record. It also encourages sports and other activities, organises various seminars, webinars to help students achieve all the knowledge of respective branch.

Previously it was a part of AKTU University and it used to hold admissions under that. From 2024, JSS is a University and it takes admission through JSS University itself. About 30 percent admission happen through the university itself and rest through AKTU or UPTU counseling. A student who wishes to enroll for admission in JSS through uptake counseling shall first appear in JEE Mains as JEE Mains percentile is considered for admission.

JSS has a main branch in Mysore so mostly Teachers are from south India i.e. only south Indian holds higher posts of HOD’s and Deans. Rest lectures are from home state UP. The style of teaching of some teachers is truly amazing there way of delivering and understanding students queries are appreciable.

Yes, we have an active placement Cell that is always there to help students to opt the best of job offer they are capable of. The panel has experienced and raised professional that are placement expert. They work dedicatedly to help students in any possible way.

Hostel life is good and very well maintained than any other AKTU Colleges. The hostel provides 4 meals each day. The meals involve breakfast, lunch evening snack and dinner. The mess Menu contains many different types of cuisines. Mess staff is hygienic and tries to provide good meal and the dining area. It has a seating capacity of 90 people in one go.

Infrastructure at JSS is moderate as it was established many years ago so it has old style Infrastructure class room are moderate but now the first year classes are fully furnished and AC. Some classes have smart board. It has a chilling relaxing area and a basketball, volleyball and football court on the main ground.

Campus life is good. We JSSatian have all Independence to go out of campus within a restricted time limit. JSS organises official fest know as zelicon every year in November. Clubs includes quanta, yfac, verve, diversity, gdsc and many more of these. They organise many events that help the students to interacte with seniors and know more about the college.
