Insights of SRM, Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
As a 1st year student at SRM, so far my experience here has been great. I am a day scholar so I will not be able to provide information about Hostel, but from what I have heard from my friends, it is good enough. SRM comes as one of the top premium private universities of India. Infrastructure is top notch, with many facilities available, especially the library.
 

Academics Rating
SRM is very serious about academics, and takes attendance as a top priority. The course is designed in a way so that students gain a holistic understanding of being an Engineer, providing workshops for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer, etc. You have to give SRMJEE and get rank at least under 10000 to get admission in SRM Ghaziabad. A minimum criterion for enrollment is 60% in PCM with your respective 12th Board.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very friendly and helpful. The director is very focused on giving the students the best education possible. Students can approach a teacher for any doubts if needed without hesitation. Two mentors are provided with each class, and students can basically approach them with any help they need, whether it be personal or professional, they are there to guide you.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is one of the best in SRM. It has a placement cell, where they will help you to crack interviews and get you job ready. I have seen seniors get 7-9 LPA placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities available in the campus. AC/Non-AC rooms are available. Restaurants are also there for students living in hostel. Hostels are separated into several blocks, each with a hostel warden. They act as the de-facto parent of the students in hostel, and can be approached with any problem a student faces.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is overall good, with some drawbacks but with everything is modernized. Library is one of the best things of the university with an automatic borrowing and returning system, which makes the process easier. There are also many labs, such as for Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, and Automobile. Campus also has 3 different canteens with different food options, and the quality of food is also great. The university ground is big enough to play a lot of sports like football, badminton, cricket, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is one of the greatest highlights of SRM. It has both technical and non technical clubs, with them organizing various events, which are very fun to attend. Seminars and workshops are held regularly too. There are DJ nights, parties, and cultural events at the regular basis, which makes the university life so much fun.

    As a 2nd year B.Tech student of SRMIST NCR campus, I have experienced plenty of things around this college. This university is overall very good and comes among the top universities in India. The Modinagar campus is also a good institute to pursue your degree from because the overall infrastructure and planning of the campus is good. If one fails to get the main campus, then they should definitely opt for the second best option which is SRM NCR campus.... Read Full Review

    I am from Punjab, so I was planning to go abroad. But due to rejection of passport, it was cancelled. I also took a drop year due to this. But at the end, I was left with only one option to take admission in a private college. I took papers for two colleges. One was for VIT and the other for SRMJEE. I passed both but wanted to choose CSE. So, I was only eligible for SRM. Now, I am at SRM Ghaziabad. My overall review will be 6/10. The reason is that the college is not up to the mark.     First of all, it is one of the best colleges in this region and the faculty and the teaching methods are very promising. Teachers make efforts for the students so that they can understand the topic clearly. The sports facilities are also good; you get all the resources you need if you comply with their rules and regulations.
