Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus is a good institute

Overall Rating
I choose this institute because of several factors and location was one of the factors. It is located in Chhattisgarh which is central India which makes it easy and suitable for the students of nearby states to pursue course in this college. Overall this college is very good.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission in this college there is certain Criteria. You should have more than 45% in 12th form any board and should have given any one of JEE Mains or CGPET exam. First you have to fill up an Admission form and then Counseling is done based on your Entrance exam rank.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties in this college are awesome. They have a very unique style of teaching and almost all of them are Ph.D holders. I just love the way they teach. Also talking about Computer Science and Engineering, Teachers are really good and helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell in the college. And this cell does its work very brilliantly. First year onwards they register your profile and try to give you opportunities as many as possible. You get updates in WhatsApp group about whatever opportunities are available in the market.
 

Hostel Rating
They have a separate 1st year hostel and from 2nd year onwards they shift you in another hostel which is also inside the college campus. In 1st year hostel 4 students live in a single room with attached washroom. But after changing to the other hostel they have a common washroom and 3-2 students live in single room. The hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure is average. It is not so bad and not so good. Different departments have their own different buildings. For Computer Science students there are different labs. There are language labs, Cs Domain labs such as Android lab, full stack lab, etc. There is big central library inside the administrative building.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. If you are not opting for hostel. Overall experience is very good. You will enjoy, study, you will have different sports activities, different clubs, and different cultural activities. Also the college conducts a fest (SAMVID) in which you will enjoy the most. Overall if looking for a college which is economic and can give average placements you can definitely take admission in the college.

    This Institute is one of the oldest Institutions in Chhattisgarh as well as in India. This Institute is known for providing brilliant minds to the industry.     SSTC Bhilai is a decent institute it has a decent varieties of courses at a very affordable fee. I personally chose this institute for its fee structure. College campus has its own canteen, gym swimming pool, basketball court and a volleyball court. College conducts an annual Fest during February.... Read Full Review
