My views on Tamil Nadu Agricultural University

Overall Rating
Our university is ranked 5th by NIRF all over India. Agriculture, Horticulture, etc. courses are being offered here from UG, PG up to Ph.D. The students passed out from here have excelled in various field starting from IAS, IPS, etc.
 

Academics Rating
My course is of 8 semesters with more or less 10 papers in each semester including both theory & practical. We can get admission through merit marks, Industrial quota, NRI Sports quota, etc. My motive to join this program is due to my personal interest in agriculture and allied activities.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in TNAU are well experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members are alumni of this own institution so they know the tricks to teach the student. Moreover, they are very friendly and easily approachable members. Their knowledge in the field is amazing.
 

Placement Rating
The university doesn't offer any big placement so far.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is hostel facility inside the campus with all necessary facilities at cost basis.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is a century old, so many of the buildings here are British built which gives us more prestige. All the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, library, sports, multi level lab, and NABL accredited labs are available here. The university has a lush green environment.
 

Campus Rating
Different fests are celebrated here like Muthamizh Vizha Sangamithra, hostel day, sport's day, etc. The events and fests are organised by student’s club members. There are also department functions like Agro Nova, ATM Ecofest, etc. The university keep us engaged through continuous functions, conferences, seminars, etc.
