DAV Post Graduate College: Overall a good college with qualified faculty

Overall Rating
Here the classes schedule is not hectic and it's easy to score decent marks. On top of that there are so many ways to make your life better. Certainly I got some wonderful friends here which will stay with me for the lifetime. It was a wonderful experience. Teachers were helpful. There was no load or academic pressure. I enjoyed my time here. Others can also go for it if placements are not their priority at the time.
 

Academics Rating
I did my graduation in Arts with English major. To get into this college you need to appear for CUET entrance exam and qualify the exam. To appear in exam the students can refer to notifications by NTA. The syllabus is not so burdensome. One can get through semesters easily. One can score decent marks easily.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of the college are decent. One can ask many questions regarding their academics and clear their doubts. Faculties are helpful. They organize various workshops and seminars and guide the students properly. One can easily engage with faculty. Syllabuses are completed before exam. You get proper time to prepare for exam. Even after passing out of college they guide you with different vacancies.
 

Placement Rating
Talking about placements is quite disappointing. As an arts student you don't have much opportunities. Although there's a placement cell but arts students don't get placements. Rarely one lands a job in a batch. Commerce students do get placements somehow.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no residential facility in the premises of the college. If you are taking admission here, sorry but there is no hostel life for you. You will have to arrange your flat or PG. There are many hostels and flats nearby if you are admitted to this college you can check out those options.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good. There are two buildings old and new building. Old building conducts classes for arts students and new building is for commerce. There's an indoor stadium which is recently built including a Gym. Indoor stadium is equipped with table tennis, badminton court and has seating capacity of around 100 students. There is a big playground also. Library is there as well. Infrastructure is getting better as after time to time renovations take place.
 

Campus Rating
Classes schedule are not very hectic so you will have plenty of time to cherish campus life. If one makes a good company of friends you will have best time of your life. Cricket, badminton and table tennis there are so many options to enjoy your campus life. Campus life is just around the corner just make good friends and you won't have to ask for anything.
