A review on NIT, Jalandhar

Overall Rating
Overall this institute is good. Here we have good culture of collaboration and co-operative team work. There are minimum barriers of communication between faculty and students. I live in Jalandhar City and I commute to college through bus. As a day scholar I feel very comfortable.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are strong point of this college. We have lab sessions on daily basis. We have different kinds of subjects in Chemical Engineering. We cover topics of different fields like Commerce, Engineering and Statistics. We have quizzes regularly which are a part of our internal assessment. Overall academics are great here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are very cooperative. They encourage the student’s interests and guide them properly. They also share strategies and materials for GATE exam. Faculties also talk about life battle and provide emotional support to the students. These faculties manage everything from studies to management. So faculties are very great and they have great study background too.
 

Placement Rating
Here, placements are good with attractive packages.
 

Hostel Rating
I'm day scholar. I have heard from my friends that the hostels are quite nice and comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a wide campus of 150 acres. Every department has separate building. The infrastructure here is quite modern. All the buildings here are well maintained. The campus is very green. There are different gardens in the campus. There is an open air theatre in which we can conduct cultural programs. A Temple is also present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Here we have a diversified campus life with good study culture, great fests for enjoyment and many spiritual activities as well. Here we have many clubs where we can foster our teamwork and leadership qualities. Fest includes Utkansh and Techniti. There are many group activities in academics too.

    NITJ is a very good institute, and it got 46th ranking in NIR. It has a lush green campus with an area of 155 acres. The institute has very good placement and internship opportunities.     Overall Rating
    This was the best institute and branch according to my JEE score. As it is a central government institute, it provides a vast range of placement opportunities and internships. The campus is decent with a lot of greenery. For first year students, the curriculum is very tight and hostel timings are very strict. Hostels are very good and provide all the necessary amenities.     Earlier, I was not about to take admission here but as the situations changed after my JEE Mains result, this institute was offering me the best I could get based on my rank, Information Technology. I searched about this institute and got mixed reviews. Somehow I finally decided to take admission here.     As it is a NIT, I joined the Institute for its name. My experience at this Institute is awesome. It consists of well qualified facility that has studied from IIT.
