Supremacy of IIT, Mandi

Overall Rating
IIT Mandi is very good not only in academics but also in external environment as it is surrounded by mountains and lakes which also help us in concentration towards studies. It keeps you connected with academics and nature simultaneously and the culture of this place is also good. We get to celebrate every festival in the institute.
 

Academics Rating
In first year, students of the branches study same syllabus. The courses of the institute include B.Sc, B.Tech and iMBA. Except iMBA, all are enrolled in the courses via entrance exam i.e. JEE Advance. If you want to be innovative, you should join this prestigious institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very supportive and helpful. Many of the professors are from IITs so they have better teaching skills. There is a class participation thing, where faculties want us to participate in the class so students can be attentive in the class. In the end, faculty is excellent.
 

Placement Rating
Yes there is placement cell in IIT Mandi and the placement ratio is way better than other private engineering colleges. Every year companies come to recruit some of the brilliant minds of the institution. The average package is 23 LPA and median is 20 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are separate hostels for girls and boys in the institute. All the necessary facilities are provided in the hostels which include use of induction, microwave, oven, washing machine, etc. One caretaker is allotted to each hostel. They take care of any one problem faced by the hostler. Games such as table tennis and fuse are also there in common area for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate block for academics, sports, hostel area of students and faculty residence. Generally academic blocks are bigger than others. There is also a sport complex in which all sport halls are present which includes swimming, badminton, lawn tennis, etc. There is also a health center where every week, one specialist doctor come and conduct daily health check up of the students.
 

Campus Rating
College life at IIT Mandi is full of fests like inter IITs, tech fests, etc. Everyone take part in these fests and enjoy. These are full of fun and are also knowledgeable which would helps us in learning things. Events like these also help us interact with people and increase our connections. All the seniors and other people of the institute are really supportive.

    I am a CSE B.Tech student of IIT Mandi. This branch is a new and yet it is well structured, and beautiful. It is situated between stunning mountains in a beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh. There are rivers, lake, different type of trees, and beautiful mountains near about IIT Mandi. The first view institute is really so beautiful.     IIT Mandi is a second generation IIT, established in 2009. Since then, it has been growing consistently. Post covid-19 pandemic, it has developed very abruptly. It is situated between mountains and a river nearby, remote from city though with excellent facilities like research labs, amazing sports facilities and many academic courses.     The overall experience of IIT Mandi is very serene and breath-taking. It is nested in the Shivalik range of the Himalayas and is allegedly the most beautiful IIT in India.     Indian Institute of technology, Mandi is a good Institute for engineering and science. You have to be much qualified to take admission here. According to me it's a fabulous Institute. After studying from here you don't require to look back. Here's atmosphere helps you to do something different. Teachers' are also helpful and friendly.     I like the atmosphere of the college with fresh air, scenario and placement package. Students here are also very friendly. Hostel facilities are also too good and well settled here.
