My college life in Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Institute of Management Studies and Research

Overall Rating
The institute is located about 10 km away from the city of Satara and just one hundred meters away from national highway. The institute has a lot of facilities including spacious parking, huge campus and big classrooms equipped with projectors and a big library. The institute also has several sports grounds for students such as football and basketball grounds. It also has several specialized labs for each stream.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements up until this year were by direct admission to the course. However from this academic year, an entrance exam which is conducted by the Maharashtra Government known as the Common Entrance Test or CET for entrance to the institute. The course prepares students for entering into the corporate world and has several specialization subjects one can choose from in his final year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in the institute can be improved with the passing time. However, each subject has its own specific teacher and the teaching style is through relevant study material.
 

Placement Rating
There are various companies which approach the institute for placement services. Jio and JustDial are few of the companies who are engaged in the placement procedure.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no hostel facilities in the institute.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute is huge and has all the required campus facilities. The institute consists of one huge main building and several other small buildings which include the staff residence as well. The library facilities are great and includes all the books required for the course as well as further examination preparation ones.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is decent. The ‘Embark’ is a yearly festival held in the institute. During this festival, several competitions are held in the institute which includes both cultural and academic activities. There are also interested class sports competitions. The institute also participates in the Shivaji University competitions.
