My observations at LPU, Jalandhar

Overall Rating
Overall experience of the college is nice. The diversification of culture makes it easy for people to adjust even if they are from different cultures or origins. The university has more than 40,000 students so you will never be alone which also makes it an extremely safe environment especially for girls.
 

Academics Rating
Talking about the entry requirements, they are very nominal. A simple basic test of Mathematic and English called LPUnest which is extremely easy to clear and if you score well, you are also eligible for scholarships in your course which may go up to 45%. Hence making the tuition fees affordable for all.
 

Faculty Rating
If I talk about the faculty review, the faculties are extremely helpful and understanding. Many faculties are graduates of LPU itself hence this is sometimes an advantage and sometimes a disadvantage. Overall the faculties are quite nice in the business courses specially. Talking about their backgrounds most of them are from Punjab but there is a lot of diversity in teachers as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university has a proper placement cell. They also offer placement classes excluded from your program and also charge 15-20 thousand for that every semester. These classes help you boost your performance in interviews and make you ready for the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has 8 boy’s hostels and 6 girl’s hostel. They are completely separated from each other and make it safe for everyone. Girls are supposed to report back to their hostels for 7:45 PM in the evening after that they cannot leave their respective hostel building until next early morning. There is a leave system which allows you to enter a leave about which your warden and parents are informed which allows you to go out of the college or out of your hostel any time depending on the leave type (day leave or night leave).
 

Infrastructure Rating
This university is known for its beautiful infrastructure, it is the element in which the owners invest most of their money in. It is extremely big consisting of 50 plus buildings, a hospital, a mall and a gaming zone. Each building is numbered which makes it easy to locate for freshers. There are guards everywhere on every step for your guidance and safety around the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus review is nice. I am satisfied with my college life. Considering opportunities, there are a lot of opportunities in every area. If you are into sports considering more than 10 people from LPU are Olympic medalists and they promote sports a lot. In academics also LPU is great but you will have to fight for your spot as there is a lot of competition in every field.

    Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar is a preset university known by people and students all over India. It is ranked at the 10th position all over Asia. it is known for its undying prestige, helpful faculty, creative learning, cultural events, social and cultural diversity and much more.     My experience at Lovely Professional University is good taking all the parameters in attention. The university is very huge in size and we can see that it is eco friendly as there are many plants everywhere. The faculty members are also very good in providing and delivering the concepts that we need.
