My Review on BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology

Overall Rating
I took admission in this institute last year through WEBJEE counseling. The institute is suitable for me because it is close from my home. I recommended the students who want to pursue Engineering degree in this institute. There are 4 branches available here in that institute CSE, EE, IT and ECE. The institute is very beautiful.
 

Academics Rating
The students who got 60% marks with Science stream in 12th standard and got 34 ranking in WEBJEE can enter in this institute. Our institute also accepted TFW quota. I thought the students who got these requirements they easily entered in this institute. It is affiliated by MAKAUT.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of our institute is really good. They have really good and fruitful manner to teach. They are available to assist students both on and offline. They really help us for doubt solving. Every teacher is Ph.D and M.Tech qualified. They teach us in a very good way.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our institute has placement cell in c block. Many companies have visited in our institute for campus drive. Our students get placed in many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon and many other companies. In 2024, our placement rate was 84%.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute has also hostels. Though, hostels are situated outside the institute campus. Our hostels have Wi-Fi facility. But the food in our hostels is below average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute has 3 academic blocks. A-Block is for first year students of all the departments. B-block is for all the other year students of EE and ECE departments. C-bloc is for all 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of CSE and IT department. Our campus does not have playground. Our institute provides different kinds of indoor games like table tennis and carom.
 

Campus Rating
Our institute campus is too small. Our institute organizes football and cricket competitions every year. It also conducts technical and cultural fest in every year.
