Life at my college.

Overall Rating
RVS College of Engineering and Technology is located in steel city of India, Jamshedpur known as Tatanagar. It has a well-maintained green campus. The campus is spread in almost 200 acres and is divided in different sections like hostels, academic and residential area. College provides lots of amenities like canteens, sports facilities, shop, ATM, mini hospital, etc. My overall experience was pretty much good. Other students who belong to Jamshedpur or nearby cities must visit the campus.
 

Academics Rating
Departments don’t matter at all as you can choose elective in first year. Entry requirements are JCECE and directly you can approach to college for direct admission. The candidate must secure at least 60 % in 12th or Diploma.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are both chill and strict. They are helpful too. All the teachers have qualified M.Tech or are postgraduate professionals. There teaching style is modern as per requirement. They have lots of projects so you can assist them and gain knowledge. Overall they provide value in your academic life.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placement cell at our college called TOP. The exposure of placement is provided within 2nd year only. It’s has really helped students to get a better opportunity when company’s visit the college. They provide Mock Test, English, Vocabulary Improvement Classes, Mock Interviews, etc. This career development cell helps to boost confidence.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have in-house residential facilities in College. There are 10 plus hostels for girls and boys. Hostel is good in infrastructure with great facilities and good ventilated rooms. There is a common room, indoor play area and dining hall.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a New block B3 added in college for first year students. Infrastructure was good with greenery surrounding the campus with hill view. Library, canteen, ATM, emergency hospital and ambulance are available. Sports grounds are there in campus like basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground, football ground and garden area, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life was truly good. We have lots of fests happening in campus like cultural, sports technical, financial and entrepreneurship fest. Summit is also held in the campus. Provenance is the largest cultural and technical fest of your college. Other colleges also take part in this fest.

    I am 2nd year B.Tech student of RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur. It one of the best private colleges of Jharkhand.     Overall Rating
    My college is AICTE approved and it works under Jharkhand University of Technology. It was ranked second in Jharkhand state. My college is trying to tie MOU with Bangladesh. After this, students will get a chance to go on an educational trip to Bangladesh’s top universities. Our college has a higher placement rate than other colleges of Jharkhand.     The college is well recognised or we can say the best private college in Bihar and Jharkhand. The college comes understand Jharkhand University of Technology. The environment in the campus is very good and free from ragging. The students are secured. They have separate hostels for boys and girls.     This college has all the basic things that are required to become an engineer but not more than basics thing like you have all types of labs and activities and campus life is also good, but not all students are good. Negativity among students is the problem. Overall this college is good to complete your engineering with proper knowledge. I chose this college because I found this college better than other colleges as it provides best placement and the faculty is also highly educated and some faculty are also foreign returns.
