Discussing about Keshav Mahavidyalaya, you can imagine a beautiful campus spread in a place away from hustle and noise and give the same feeling of red brick building. It is under the University of Delhi and is a famous off campus university for its management course. A beautiful campus and with moderate placement and well built infrastructure with auditorium and amphitheater. Well versed people and good atmosphere away from all the drama, it’s definitely one of the most underrated university of DU.

Hailing from Bachelor of Management Studies myself. University also backs up this course and flaunts it as one of the best in entire DU. Courses here are well developed for further masters and placement also finds peeps from BMS itself only criteria you should be well versed with finance acumen. There are tons of societies in your course from Marketing and Entrepreneurship to Quizzing and Management which provides a well diverse background for learning.

Faculty here is top notch the only thing. But a few teachers are very well versed and they know what they are doing. Coming from all different backgrounds. Accounts teacher being a CA and Organizational Behavior being from having a Ph.D in the same. FM teacher from B.Com and some of the teachers from IT as well. They here know what they are doing and keeps well connected with children helping them on every step needed. From societies to studies, they are totally helpful, gracious and immaculate. They try their best to provide and work with the entire batch and always seem enthusiastic about teaching.

Placements do arrive at our university, mainly for Management course and bachelor of Commerce. They find people from Finance background having a basic knowledge about Financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Analysis, DCF and Beta as well. They also bring placements for actuarial and specific roles such as Audit and CA. With placement varying from 5-7 LPA for tier A and 3.5-5 LPA for tier B. They try to bring the best but being and off campus and seeing DU record I would say it is pretty decent.

They do provide hostel for girls only. Asking for a pay around 65-75 thousand a year including food and shelter with a spacious room and balcony shared with 2 people per room. They have secured atmosphere with no entry or exit after 7:30 PM. You need to have permission from your local guardian and parent in case to go out. They do have a faculty coordinator for hostel and provide all the help that is required. All in all, it’s a good experience for girls in a cheap price.

It’s a red brick building which is iconic in DU. Spread in a wide area with a football field, basketball court, volleyball court, open gym, closed gym and table tennis courts, yoga room and quota for sports students along with exercise and good diet being provided for free of cost. It has lecture hall with benches from top to bottom and classes are airy and lights. It also has a reading room with AC and a dedicated library as well. It has labs like ICT labs, computer labs, chemistry and physics and dedicated admin area with multiple people for assistance. Other facilities provided by the campus include students’ parking, an amphitheater and auditorium with a canteen and a lawn and sitting area as well. There is dance area and music area too. Infrastructure is very nice and attractive.

Campus life is very moderate. We have a fest once a year with guests varying from Punjabi singers to politicians. Good clean environment. Peers are nice and seniors find a way to guide you throughout the journey. People are supportive here with a knack for helping be it security guard or be it teachers. It also conducts a sports fest once a year with basketball and cricket being major ones along with football. They have cultural fest for dramatic societies and clubs for finance and consulting having their events once a year and other courses having one event each year. All comprising to a staggering 15+ events in a year which is pretty good, considering the area and crowd being provided.
