I am pursuing B.Tech degree in CSE from the institute. My overall institute experience is above average. Since it is a Government institute, the fee is very low which is one of the reasons why I am here. It has a very good infrastructure, with magnificent views of ice-covered peaks of Himalayas. There is no medical facility nearby. It is situated in a remote location, and if you need something, you have to go Pauri Market which is 10 km from the institute. I choose this institute because my JEE rank wasn't very good. When I first saw the college, I really liked it because it was the first B.Tech college I had seen in the mountains, and the administrative block looked nice too. There was no mobile network in the hostel and not much else either. Gradually, I got used to these challenges and started accepting them.
