My Honest Thoughts on ITER, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
ITER, Bhubaneswar is a decent institute for Engineering. I chose this institute due to its NIRF ranking. If anyone whose is unable to take admission in NIT and other IIITs, then he/she may consider this institute. Students should consider this institute because it creates many good carrier opportunities.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility criteria for admission is 60% marks in Higher Secondary Education and there is an online exam SAAT conducted by Sikha-O-Anusandhan. All types of required experiment or labs are performed for practical knowledge of the subject. In CSE, one can choose different types of specializations. Academic curriculum is updated as per the industrial requirements.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very much qualified and experienced. They are very much helpful and supportive in both in class and outside the class. The teaching technique is excellent so that all sorts of students in class can easily understand the topics.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement cell in our institute. In 3rd year of Engineering, there is a class for training student for interviews. Recently, there was a huge ‘SOA Proximal Event’, where 200 HRs from different companies were present.
 

Hostel Rating
There are total 12 hostels in the campus. Food is good enough to fill belly. Wi-Fi, Water and electricity is available 24/7. On special occasions, special food items are served.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different blocks for different branches of engineering. There is one central library and separate building for cafeteria. Every classroom has an air conditioning and CCTV camera. Elevator is available in every block. Labs are available for practical. There is a football ground, volleyball court and small cricket pitch.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is very much crowded. There are lots of clubs but few clubs are very much active. Overall the campus life is good and every student is supportive to each other.

    Overall, ITER Bhubaneswar is a good institute to study at. I chose it mostly because of its well-set curriculum, which match the standards of the requirements in the corporate world. The institute has more of an academic focus and ensures that the students are trained well to tackle responsibilities as corporate workers.
