MY Views on Gargi College

Overall Rating
My experience with Gargi College is very good. I'm currently in my 3rd year and there are lots of things that I have learned. It provides you the environment where you can grow and learn holistically. Teachers are very cooperative and environment is very good. Utmost good reason for getting in Gargi is that it is safe for girls.
 

Academics Rating
To pursue B.Com program, one needs to go through a CUET and have to score decent 650-700 marks for general category for getting into this course with core subjects like Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics with general test or English. There can be good future endeavors after that.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very motivating and encouraging also most of the teachers are Ph.D degree holders and very friendly. They understand the students demand. While some are uncooperative as well but one this for sure you'll get many life lessons in Gargi.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement cell is there, which is very active and helpful. Currently, placement season is going on and top companies, big 4 are coming. The placement cell members’ help in that if you did anything wrong while making resume and further process also.
 

Hostel Rating
No, but there are many PGs in 5 minute walking distance from the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is well maintained. Everything is being taken care from cleanliness to sanitation facility. Recently a new building is also constructed. Lighting in rooms is also good. Recently a chrome book room is also opened for labs of Income Tax and Management, Accounting. The canteen and Nescafe is also nice.
 

Campus Rating
Crowd is very rich and along with good societies where one can join and get many exposure such as the Commerce Association, AVNI, etc.

    Gargi College is one of the top girl’s colleges in India. For me, I just wanted to study outside my own state and for my subject that is Political Science ,it seemed to be a good option.     Gargi college is one of the best women colleges in Delhi University. It is known for its academic excellence.     The Gargi College, established in 1964, is one of the most reputable colleges of the University of Delhi. It was ranked #9 in the Arts category and has been among the top 10 colleges for Arts in the country.
