My Outlook of PES University

Overall Rating
PESU is a huge brand that has lived up to its expectations. The curriculum and placements are better than most of the private universities. Since I was into sports and PESU has one of the best sporting facilities with indoor sport stadium and a lot of open spaces for outdoor sports as well. Fests are amazing as our annual fest 'Aatmatrisha' is better than the most.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are best as our syllabus is updated time to time and there's no point looking for notes which are a couple of years older as syllabus keeps updating. BCA is a professional course so these days and we are taught professionally with Coding culture as good as Engineering student’s societies. From Graphic Designing to Coding, we are taught with all aspects of computing.
 

Faculty Rating
Some of the faculty members are really good & highly educated and some of them are just average. Overall, the quality of the faculty can be improved to enhance the learning experience.
 

Placement Rating
Placements can be termed as a mix bag thing because companies like Bain Capital and DeShaw have started coming and all IT companies that have been partners of the university for a long time. Research analyst jobs are available to students and only 50-60% students are placed with an average package of 4-5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a localite, therefore I don't have much idea about the hostels but nearly 30% of the students at PESU are hostlers and have always the good things to say, apart from the curfew time which is very strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I will start with labs and classrooms as both of them are so well equipped that one can’t ask for more. The 50 acres campus boasts 3 canteens and a fully equipped indoor stadium. 4 auditoriums with the biggest auditorium boast a capacity of 600 people at a time. The central library of the university is humongous and has nearly 100k books in its arsenal. For outdoor sports lovers there are basketball courts, football ground, a proper cricket ground and tennis courts.
 

Campus Rating
One has to say that most students here are from top educational backgrounds and therefore to find like-minded people in the campus is very easy. Every festival is celebrated at the campus and the jam sessions too are quite regular here. From singers like Baadshah to Salim Merchant all have performed at our campus.

    The college is really good for engineering. I personally liked it a lot. You might get mixed reviews everywhere but for me its great the academics, events held, infrastructure...everything is good.     My overall experience at the university is excellent. The major reasons for my sayings are its infrastructure, campus life, social interactions, faculty’s expertise, placement records, and internships. The university provides a perfect balance between the academic life and campus life. The infrastructure is also very good with modern classrooms and labs.     Overall, I would say that campus is awesome and the quality of life in terms of education and extracurricular activities is quite good. Students from high society club are a part of this university as the fee is slightly on the higher side but no complaints as facilities are too good. The campus is well connected to all parts of the city and therefore one will never find commuting difficulties which exists in Bangalore's most parts.... Read Full Review

    I am studying in RR campus PES University. The overall experience in the college is good. If I talk about the campus, the campus is huge and the facilities given to the students are quite good. I am enjoying my experience in the college. There are two libraries provided for the students. The attendance limit is 75% which is good. The faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable but not very good at delivering the knowledge to the students.... Read Full Review

    My Experience at PES University, Banglore has been excellent and amazing. The campus environment is extremely active, the professors & faculty are great, and the academic programs are up to date. PES Attracted me because of its strong industrial connections and research opportunities.
