An Insight View of BIT Durg

Overall Rating
BIT has very good reputation. Of course after NITs and IITs, BITs of Chhattisgarh is best. Students who want good study environment and good faculty, they should take admission into this institute.
 

Academics Rating
If you want to take admission into this institute so you have to give CGPET exam and on the basis of merit list you will get seat into this institute. Also at the end on the basis of JEE score; student gets enrolled when some seats are vacant. Courses like B.E \ B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech, etc. are available. Students can give CGPET after passing 12th. Motive for enrolling into this institute can be better study environment, better academics, better market value, better campus life, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in BIT Durg is very good. They teach very well. Teachers are supportive and ready to clear doubts anytime. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. So this institute is good for those who really want to study and achieve something in their life. Here all the instruments are available in labs and each and every experiment is performed. So, practicals are sincerely performed.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our institute has placement cell. Placements are average. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. visit the campus for recruitment. Mostly placed students’ are from CS branch. Average salary is offered around 4-5 LPA. So better prepare for off campus placements. But this institute makes students highly skilled (if they are serious), so they can work in the industry. It helps to get placed into IT and some other companies but offers decent salary.
 

Hostel Rating
The management of the institute needs to work over improving the infrastructure and facilities of the hostels. Mess food is average. Better take PG or flat nearby.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I would say infrastructure is average. According to me, institute needs renovation. Classrooms are basic, just metal desk and benches, green boarded, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Greenery is present everywhere. There are less no of students as compared to other institutes, so teachers can better focus on each and every student. There are various clubs available like vista, NSS, etc. Student can enroll into this clubs. Fest is average. OJAS used to happen here, which is average.

    My institute is very good. The facilities provided are very nice and amazing. I recommend this institute to everyone if one is not getting into tier 1 institute.     Till now I am having very pleasant experience in this institute. The people here, the knowledge imparted by the teachers here, everything seems vibrant and I get a positive energy.     I'm student at Bhilai Institute of Technology, a prestigious college located in Durg, Chhattisgarh, pursuing bachelor's in technology in Data Science Branch. It is affiliated with CSVTU. The college infrastructure is very nice, lots of greenery, good locality with easy accessibility.
