Review Title BHU is worth taking admission for better academics

Overall Rating
BHU ranks 5th in India's top central university while Institute of Agricultural Sciences ranks 4th in top agriculture and allied sector. Agriculture has much scope and BHU gives the opportunity to explore this field. Government jobs, corporate jobs, banking, research and many opportunities are offered to the students of at BHU. It gives you tag of being an alumni of a prestigious college.
 

Academics Rating
Course duration is of 4 years. One has to clear CUET for getting admission. Eligibility criteria are given on its official site. Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks of CUET are considered. Many reservations quota are also available. This program provides many great opportunities and exposure to the students. If you have interest in botany goes for it.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are highly knowledgeable and have achieved great success in their life. Smart boards are available for teaching. Teaching style of every teacher is different. Professors are highly qualified. PDFs are provided for notes reference. Professors are highly educated and quite experienced. Seniors are also very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placement cell in our Institute. Many students get the placement but generally they go for higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostels for girls and boys. Girl’s hostel has good infrastructure with good mess food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is great. Campus is big. Smart boards are available in all the classes. Labs with equipment are present. Library is also there. Auditorium and seminar hall are present in the campus. Many buildings are there. Central Library is just beside the campus. The campus is very beautiful. Greenery is present. There is agricultural research farm also.
 

Campus Rating
Shristi is the cultural fest that is held between Novembers to January. Sahas (sport fest) and Abhinandan (fresher’s party) are also organised in university. Many events and competitions are held in college as well as hostel. In addition to these, Workshops and seminars are also organised in the college. Many opportunities are given students to build their personality and soft skills.

    As we all are aware that Banaras Hindu University is globally recognized university and one the prestigious university in India. The most important thing in making it so is the Academics part. As a student of Commerce department in BHU, I can tell you about my department only. Though it's not the best but I can confidently say that our faculty can easily make into top 10 institutes for Commerce students in India, especially for the B.com (Hons.).     The great legacy of the university known as Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the best University in Asia and the largest residential too. My college was Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and I chose it due to the fact that it had an excellent reputation and it had one of the most important things called a PG quota which helps a lot in future PG exams as well....
