IIEST: Well Versed Professors make the Educational Journey easier.

The college is situated in Kolkata, at just a few kilometers of distance from the Howrah railway station and close to the Shalimar railway station. The college has a good alumni network and professors who are well versed with the new age technology. It has all the departments which are required in a college. Various students come from different part of India to become quality engineers. The reason I chose to be here was because of its positive review I read from the internet and after listening to students who were part of the institute once, I made sure to take admission and complete my degree. I assure you if you want to be good engineers then this is the right place to be in.

The courses offered here are B.tech, B.tech + M.tech, M.tech, PhD. The entry requirement for B.tech is that a students passed JEE (MAINS) exams are eligible according to the cutoffs released in JOSAA. The B.tech course deals in a 4 year programme. The enrollment process is initiated by JOSAA counseling. Then the verification is done.

One promising advantage about IIEST is its faculty. They have plenty of experience in their respective fields and are well versed with the state of art technologies and the recent advances in their field of study. All the faculty members are highly qualified and have a very deep and bright educational background. The faculty here is cooperative and focuses on the student's ease of learning.

IIEST has its Placement Cell which helps each and every student in getting placed. It coordinates with the students and the industry. It makes sure to bring in big tech giants and companies to the college which provide adequate offers. The placement ratio of the college is also a plus point here.

IIEST has residential facilities in the institute. There are many hostels made for the students and all accommodation facilities are provided accordingly. Although there are less availability of hostels for the students. The hostels are only allotted to the students from outsider Kolkata and not to the one residing here.

IIEST has all required amenities for its students. It has a centralized library named after sir Ramanujan, named as Ramanujan Central library which contains many articles and all kind of books for its students of all courses. The campus has an Institute Hall for its activities and an eight storied building for classes of different departments. It has a sports ground for every kind of sports and even a swimming pool.

IIEST emphasises on not only educational growth but also mental and physical growth of its students. It has various clubs like Photography Club, Robotics Club, many more where students can meet, learn and build something. Every year departmental fests are held and one common fest. REBECCA.
