Review on Bangalore Institute of Technology.

My experience at Bangalore Institute of Technology has been nothing short of great. The college has built a strong reputation in Bangalore over the past many years and is one of the top ranked colleges in Karnataka. Faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive. They encourage us to take up additional research other than college academics and work towards overall development of the student, in all aspects.

The college provides various courses ranging from technical circuit based branches like Computer Science, Information Science including newer branches like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Internet of Things. Admission is mainly based on entrance exams like KCET, COMED-K for engineering courses. The institution also provides post-graduation courses like MBA and M. Tech in various domains like computer science, electronics, mechanical and civil.

Faculties in the college are very supportive and knowledgeable. They help us in academia, placements and research oriented work. Most teachers hold PhDs and encourage students to publish research papers in the initial years of their course. They also promote students to attend various tech events happening across the city. Each student is allocated a guide teacher who tracks their progress and well-being throughout the 4 years. From education to test-marks to additional skills to mental health. Guides assure over-all development of the students.

Placement cell of our college supports students to obtain internships and jobs in top companies across the world. Placement officer along with other staff strive to get all students placed before they complete their course. Summer internships for second year students in companies like Fidelity, Dell and Boeing take place almost every year. Final year students end up obtaining more than one offer each year with high packages year after year.

College includes hostel facility which is used by most students.

The college has a vast library with almost every book available. Additionally it also has a digital library with access to various online material and research papers. Free Wi-Fi facility is available to all in the campus. Sufficient parking for both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler is available for both students and the staff. Good canteen facility makes life easier in campus. Appropriate labs are present for each department, which are fully functional and have trained staff for the same.

Campus is located at the heart of Bangalore, where the students can access all types of transport like bus, metro and auto. A lot of attractions are located around college like the famous Lal Bhag, Gandhi Bazar and a lot of things. It gives the feel of living in the tech-city Bangalore. Surrounded by colleges of different disciplines like law, and medicine, we get to meet a lot of new people and learn a lot of things.
