A candid review on Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
Andhra University is a place where we can indulge into academic excellence and also explore the greenery. The professors teach in a very friendly way, which is awesome. I am from metallurgy field. My professors have industrial experience which helps us to gain subject knowledge and improve our skills. Apart from studies, AU is a great place to participate in cultural events and sports too.
 

Academics Rating
I am a Metallurgy student. First of all, at the time of joining I didn't know what a Metallurgist could do. But later on, after reading my academic books and the lessons that my professors delivered, I was attracted towards this core field, and it became my passion. Since my professors have a lot of industrial experience, they teach us more visually.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at Andhra University are great because every professor is very knowledgeable, and they also treat every student equally; that makes the students to learn and gain something or the other from them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we get decent placement opportunities here. Placements provided to the CSE / IT students are more as compared to other branches in Andhra University.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar, but hostel life at Andhra University is good. I stayed in the hostel only during semester exams. Food is great and I heard that they conduct sports in hostel too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is great. Since the university is old, the buildings for various departments in AU are still structurally fascinating and unique. There is mineral water facility in every department and parking lot is also available for students. Overall, infrastructure of Andhra University is good.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Andhra University, in simple words is epic. In the fresher party we have various activities like flash mob, etc. Sports tournaments and other extracurricular activities are conducted by different clubs. Academic life to campus life overall, is great for student who wants to grow academically and also enjoy equally.

    It is one of the prestigious universities in Andhra Pradesh. It was a roller-coaster journey being in this university.     I firstly prefer this university for its good standards government University in the state. The university is built in the middle of the city of destiny Vizag. This university has very good connectivity to the city through transportation like bus and train. I am studying at Andhra University’s Engineering college. It consists of 6 different colleges.     Andhra University is one of the best colleges in the country and it the well recognized institution. Andhra University is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 1926. It has received a score of 3.74 out of 4 and graded with A++ by NAAC. My choice of choosing Andhra University is that, it is one of the oldest and best public institutions.     Andhra University College of Engineering is very large in area and is located at the centre of the city. It is one of the best colleges to opt for pursuing higher education.
