My College Life in Gargi College

Overall Rating
My experience in Gargi college as of now is very satisfying. The course I chose has provided me great knowledge about the domain. I have chosen this particular college because of the course it offers and faculty to student ratio. I am relieved that I chose this college. The environment is very supportive and encouraging with well trained, educated and experienced teachers.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing B.Sc (Hons.) in Microbiology. The admission is given thorough CUET exam. The eligibility is that the students must have passed 10+2 with PCB stream. The course fee is fifty four thousand for four years course which is very affordable and worth it.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members teaching in my course are Ph.D holders. They are very well knowledgeable and have great understanding about their subjects. They are easily approachable and are encouraging. My course also conducts a lot of webinars with alumni of our course for better understanding. Their teaching style is very engaging and it helps to understand the concepts completely.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell at our college. They are very approachable and conduct regular placement drives in college. They also keep us updated of the latest internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
No, residential facilities are not provided by DU. But there are plenty of PGs available near the college along with accessible transport system.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure is very good and has separate blocks for each stream. The academic blocks are well structured with labels at every building for a hustle free finding of classes. The library of the college also got plenty of books in every topic and is very accessible. It also has a separate place to study and do research using PCs. We also have computer labs with a very good Wi-Fi connectivity. So overall infrastructure is very good and peaceful.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very satisfying with a very decent crowd. Everyone is soft spoken. There is no ragging and sexual harassment as it is a girl college. The security is very good and we have internal complain cells for any kind of discomfort. There are eco and NSS clubs to serve needy people and provide education to the poor children. The college also organizes webinars and seminars for better understanding of curriculum. Apart from educational activities we also have annual fest, sport events, Diwali and Dusshera fests so that students can enjoy and replenish their energy

    Gargi College is one of the top girl’s colleges in India. For me, I just wanted to study outside my own state and for my subject that is Political Science ,it seemed to be a good option. This college is a safe place for girls and you will get very comfortable. There are so many fests and amazing events which makes it even more enjoyable. My life so far has been very good.
