My experience at VJEM, Kannur has been quite good. I chose this college primarily for its reputation in Engineering and Business Studies. The college has a specialized cell for placements. The college has a good bond with many known companies that visit the campus during on-campus placements. For Engineering in Malabar region, this college is the best choice. The academic year is divided into two semesters. Three internal exams are conducted in each semester for evaluating students’ academic growth and capability including lab exams. Staff also provides students with the mentor.

B.Tech in Computer Science at VJEM, Kannur provides a comprehensive education in core areas such as Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms and Software Engineering. The program includes modern course work and practical labs designed to prepare students for the evolving Tech industry.

The faculty at the college is a mix of professionals and enthusiastic educators. Many professors have industry experience which enriches the learning experiences with practical insights. Their teaching style is interactive often involving case studies and real world problem solving cases. Most faculties at the college have Ph.D and Masters on their own subjects.

The college has an active placement cell that assists students in finding internships and job opportunities. The cell organizes various activities such as mock interviews, resume building workshops, etc. Many students secure placements in reputable industries and companies although the competition can be tough.

The hostel facilities at the college are decent with well maintained rooms. The hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, study areas and recreational facilities. However, there are concerns regarding the availability of hot water and cleanliness. The hostel fee for a month can be around 2000 and an extra 4000 for food per month. Each room has to be shared by two to three students.

The campus infrastructure at VJEM, Kannur is modern and well-equipped. The academic blocks are spacious and include specialized labs for students, such as Software Development and Networking labs. The library offers a good range of resources and the IT facilities to support a tech focused curriculum. While the infrastructure supports learning effectively. Ongoing upgrades would enhance the experience.

Campus life at VJEM, Kannur is vibrant with a range of students clubs, cultural events and sports activities. The college hosts a various fests and technical events that provide the students with opportunities to showcase their skills. Although the college focuses mainly on academics which is why extra-curricular activities in the college are very less.
