I study Cyber Security in Department of Biochemistry at Gujarat University. It is #1 university in Gujarat, making it a good choice for students to start their journey of career. It has a huge campus with multiple departments, a sport complex, auditorium, canteen, etc. Campus is full of nature consisting of bigger lawn, grounds & trees which makes it nature friendly campus.

I'm doing Cyber Security & Forensics Science. For Admission, both Science & Commerce students can apply for it. On the basis of cut off, the admission will be confirmed. This course is integrated that is B.Sc + M.Sc which makes it feasible for students who want to pursue both Bachelors & Masters. You can also leave after bachelors if you change your mind for Master’s degree.

Faculty in my department (of Biochemistry) is just average. There are few good teachers too who make understanding of the curriculum easier.

Gujarat University has a placement cell. For extra info you can check on their official site. Conversely, it needs to improve the placement services for Cyber Security Department.

We have hostel facilities our university. Though, they are for international students only. I live in rental service near our university. You can easily find rented facility near the university starting from as low as 7000 a month to high till 30000 a month.

Gujarat University has many departments available for different types of courses. It has a canteen and overall campus is very nature friendly consisting of greenery with trees. Ratio of lawn of buildings to the greenery is almost 50-50 which is a good thing. Its sports complex consists of badminton court, running track and volleyball court with almost all facilities available.

Gujarati University is normally crowded. Many functions are held in the university. One month program known as ‘Abhivyakti’ is also conducted in the university. Other activities like departmental functions, festival celebrations, fresher’s party, Traditional day and Bollywood day are also organized from time to time.
