My Life at NIT, Durgapur

Overall Rating
This institute has very good faculty for Management. The infrastructure of institute is very good. Library is also well equipped with nice books for management studies. This institute is one of the most prestigious institutions so I chose this institute.
 

Academics Rating
Course curriculum is fantastic and very much interesting. MBA is a two year course which requires one to qualify CAT exam with very good percentile and get admitted in the institute. My motive was to become a good business professional, hence I chose this course.
 

Faculty Rating
There are almost 15 faculty members in the department of Management Studies. All of them are highly educated as each of them has a Ph.D degree. They are very lucid and friendly in their style of teaching. They impart always the correct knowledge to the students so that the students may shine bright in future.
 

Placement Rating
This institute has very good placement cell and the placement rate is almost 80% every year.
 

Hostel Rating
This institute also has residential facilities that include hostels and common room in hostels. Hostel Life is very much enjoyable with other students. Facilities include good food, internet, Gymnasium, etc. are available for the hostlers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 2 academic blocks for the department of Management Studies. The building and infrastructure quality is really appreciating. Free canteen is present outside the institute building. Tennis courts, dance and music clubs are also there in the institute. The institute also has a beautiful; swimming pool.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is really very much enjoyable which one can't understand without getting admitted in this institute. Every year, two fests are organized in this institute, the ‘Aarohan’ (annual tech fest) and ‘Recstacy’ (cultural fest). Huge crowd gather from different other institutes also during these fest to participate in various events. Famous singers of India are also invited in these fests.

    Overall Rating
    Firstly, NIT Durgapur is one of the prestigious colleges of India. Courses like CSE, Electrical, Electronic and Communication, Metallurgy and many more branches are there. For taking admission in this college, one should have to clear the JEE main examination with good rank. And also, in 12th 75+ percentages required for taking admission in this college.     The NIT is situated in not very distant part of the city, but it will seem like it because the college is spread over 187 acres. I have been on campus for more than 1.5 years and there are still some places that I haven't visited in the campus, well that another topic. The overall college is more than 7.2/10. The locals of Durgapur are nice and have great character, but some shopkeepers will try to scam you in the campus I don't know whether it is they have to or they just want to and that's the...     I would rate this institute 4 out of 5. As the institute has a good infrastructure, good research culture and a better campus life than most of the colleges. There are several facilities are offered by the colleges, later on I have mentioned it. But talking about the placement I think there are some NITs which provide better placement record than it at the same level.   • Nit durgapur is a good campus and hostel facility

    I knew that the biotechnology department is very good in NIT Durgapur, so I wanted to choose NIT Durgapur. In this college hostel facility are also good. Placement are great in this college and a lot of companies and organization visit for campus placement. There are 14 hostels, 10 for boys and 4 for girls. Hostels are very good in this Institute....
