My Experience at ITER, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
ITER is an amazing institute for its quality education and research opportunities. The faculty present here have deep knowledge of their respective subjects as they come from a deep learner background. I chose this institute for the above stated reason as it is one of the most reputable institute in Orissa.
 

Academics Rating
The course I am pursuing is B.Tech specializing in CSE. The requirement to pursue B.Tech is to qualify the SAAT exam conducted by the institute or JEE Mains exam conducted by NTA. Any student who has completed his/her higher education is eligible for the course. It also provides lateral entry for diploma students. Every classroom is equipped with smart boards which enhance the journey of teaching and learning through various interactive sessions making the lectures understanding and enjoyable for students to grasp.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty teaching here has knowledge roots from various IITs and NITs all over the country. They boast immense knowledge regarding their respective fields and have experience of 10 + years.
 

Placement Rating
The placements offered by institute are at par. This year the current placement till now has brought the highest package of 51 LPA. The average package till now has stood at 7 LPA. More than 70+ companies have joined for recruitment from all over India. The institute also provides placement over the seas.
 

Hostel Rating
I have been living in the hostel for the past 3 years and I have literally no complaints regarding this. The hostel facilities provided by institute are fabulous.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus boasts of more than 8 + academic buildings each building recognized by block. It has a dedicated block for Computer Science, Electrical Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. The institute has a huge library filled with more than 1000+ books both academic, non-academic, fiction and non-fiction. It also has daily newspapers magazines and many more.
 

Campus Rating
The strength of my batch is around 3000 students comprising of all branches. The campus life is good. There are more than 7 clubs in each genre ranging from coding to dance music and many more. Fests are organized off campus. Every month at least 1-2 engagement activities are organized by different clubs.

It has good infrastructure and it provides facilities like cafeteria, gym, etc. It has extremely talented and cooperative faculty members who do their level best to help the students in every field....     ITER, Bhubaneswar is a decent institute for Engineering. I chose this institute due to its NIRF ranking. If anyone whose is unable to take admission in NIT and other IIITs, then he/she may consider this institute. The engineering campus is situated 2-3 kms away from the medical, agricultural, and law campus. ITER is renowned for providing great placement opportunities and internships.     My college is really huge, the hostels are absolutely good here both boys and ladies' hostel, this is also the best engineering college in Odisha so choosing this college was my choice. The teachers are generally nice here and will help you with your queries and they definitely help the weaker students in the college too. We don't do many events here but since we got bunch of clubs so it’s fun with orientation.... Read Full Review
