Overall, my university experience at VIT was decent, though not extraordinary. The university does a good job at creating an academic-focused environment; and with so many students, there are plenty of networking opportunities. On the flip side, a large student crowd means more competition, which can be a bit challenging at times. While the campus itself could definitely use some upgrades, one of the standout features is the FFCS system. Being able to design your own schedule and choose your professors was a big draw for me. Of course, the university's strong reputation also played a key role in my decision making to attend the university.

The university provides a very advanced academic system. All the teachers are well prepared and experienced. All the courses are categorized according to the requirement of industry. The quality of teaching here is good; the curriculum is also flexible and easy if you study regularly, most of the courses makes you job ready by 4 years.

Faculties are pretty helpful, and all of them are either postgraduates or Ph.D holders; knowing a lot about their subject. Also, another thing which is not related to academic discussion could be that the gender ratio among the faculties is 50:50. There are two exams in a semester that is mid-term and end-term, which makes it to 4 exams per year and also there might be assignments and group activities throughout the year as well.

Placements are really promising in Computer Science Engineering. Companies like Google, Microsoft, eBay, Intel, Ion, etc. visits VIT. Ion has offered placements to 15 students with super dream offers.

There is Wi-Fi, study table, bed, curtains, and chair in the hostels. The washrooms are common and are available in every floor. Water coolers are also available in each floor. There is a cleaning staff that comes and cleans the rooms. There is laundry service for 10/- per cloth and 5/- extra for ironing.

The university’s laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and apparatus. The facilities help the students in conducting experiments and project works. Each department has its own laboratories with a lab technician to help and guide the students. The university has smart classrooms. VIT Bhopal’s classroom facilities include LCD projectors, speakers and other advanced technologies to support effective teaching and learning.

Campus is huge and so is the distance between the hostel and the academic block; though there is a shed but still it is far. The campus is new hence, is under construction which is sometimes annoying, and the campus might feel overcrowded. Advitya is the technical festival of VIT Bhopal. It happens in the month of February. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library are good. There are projectors in classrooms and fans all over the classrooms but there is no air conditioning.
