Sinhgad Law College: A Good Option For Pursuing Law

Overall Rating
Sinhgad Law College is a great college option for students who want to pursue law as a career. I had a very good experience at the college. The campus is very beautiful and welcoming. The crowd and students are also good. The faculty and the environment of college are excellent. Overall it is a very good college option.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides various courses like B.A.LL.B- 5 year course, LL.B- 3 year course, Diplomas like Diploma in Taxation Laws (DTL), Diploma in Labour Law (DLL), Diploma in Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence (CCF & MJ). The diplomas are for duration of one year. The entry requirements are very minimal and fees are also generous.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Sinhgad Law College is good. Economics is taught very well. The non-teaching staff is also good. The college follows an 80-20 pattern, 80 marks for the written exam and 20 marks are in the hands of the college. The viva and assignments given are quite informative and we get to learn a lot from it. The teaching and non-teaching staff is cooperative.
 

Placement Rating
There is a dedicated placement cell for placement related queries.
 

Hostel Rating
Institute has separate girls and boys hostel available close to the college premises. The facilities are average. The rooms are on sharing basis at least four girls occupy one room. The food in mess is also okay. There is no AC and washing machine facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is really amazing. The whole view of college is very good and large also. It is located at the mountain area so that sight is very beautiful. Hostel facilities are also good. They provide all the basic facilities inside the hostel. The best thing of the college is its infrastructure. College provides well equipped library with Wi-Fi facility. There is also a central library in campus which is open 24×7.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is amazing. The crowd is very nice. There are several places around campus to chill and relax. The cultural center is also located where many activities take place. It is always fun to watch them. Besides academics college also conducts various events like moot court, youth parliament, and mock trial. Guest lectures are also conducted which are very informative.

    Overall Rating
    The main reason why I chose this college is that it has very affordable fee structure and there is no issue regarding attendance which is helpful for my preparation of government exam likes of Judiciary and UPSC. The surrounding of the college is also good and you meet people from different parts of the country and it will help you in social interaction skills.
