To get into this prestigious college, one must clear the college's exam known by the name BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). BITSAT is conducted in online mode all over the country giving students two attempts to clear the exam and secure their at one of the campuses. Students from both backgrounds PCM and PCB are eligible for BITSAT. Students coming from the background of PCM are eligible for all the B.E degrees as well as for B.Pharm while those from PCB can only avail their seats for B. Pharm degree.

I'm a third-year B.Pharm student at BITS, Pilani campus. The pharmacy degree here is not only focused on the core subjects but also gives you exposure to various other courses like General Mathematics, Thermodynamics, Computer Programming, etc. which makes its students to comfortably shift to the non-core path. The pharmacies courses are very well designed by the professors in you get proper hands-on experience in the labs to implement the theoretical knowledge gained during the lecture hours. The best thing about BITS is its elective courses; these courses give you exposure to various other branches henceforth knowing the inclination of your interests.

The faculty here is equipped with an enormous amount of knowledge which is delivered at the best level possible (knowing that you attend all the classes and not come into the trap of zero percent attendance). Talking of the faculty of the Department of Pharmacy, professors here are very supportive and will help you in every way possible. Since the strength of the branch is concise professors try to look after every student personally. The branch of pharmacy is much diversified with new technologies and discoveries coming every day, the faculty will make sure that the students are equipped with the same.

Placements for core pharmacy don't hold a good record but students opting for the non-core path will get good placement opportunities. The students focusing on core pharmacy studies usually opt for higher studies and mostly don't sit for the placement rounds.

Hostels here are well equipped with all the necessary furniture for every student be it a single room or a sharing room. All hostels have their own attached mess allowing students to take their regular meals. Meera Bhawan which is the girls' hostel also one of the biggest Bhawan amongst the others comprising a total of nine blocks here, every room has its balcony allowing proper ventilation to be maintained.

BITS Pilani campuses have the best infrastructure. The Pilani campus is the oldest one but new academic buildings have been constructed like the New Academic Building (NAB) having the best infrastructure and all the classes have centralized AC facilities. Some of the best attractions of the campus are the epic Clock Tower of BITS Pilani, the Saraswati Mandir, the snake path, sky lawns, etc.

The campus area of BITS Pilani is spread out over a massive 328 acres. Being in a deserted area the campus is an absolute beauty with greenery spread all over the place. The campus often becomes a tourist spot for the localities of Pilani during the weekends.
