Glimpse of the college through my experience

Overall Rating
As per my experience, I chose this college because of its good environment and the supporting nature of the faculty members. They are well educated and good in nature, who helps students in delivering better academic record. Seniors are also very supportive. The location of the college is also very good. Overall it is a good college.
 

Academics Rating
In our college, there are mainly four courses B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. For entry requirements, each should have a good percentile in JEE Mains because for the UTU counseling, which will help you to choose your dream branch.
 

Faculty Rating
In our college, the faculties are well educated, good in nature and are also supportive. Many of them have completed their M.Tech from IIT and their teaching styles are also very interesting. Some of them teach in a very simplified way but some of the lecturers are very tough to understand.
 

Placement Rating
Placement record in our college is okay, not very good and not very bad. The average placement package is around 4.5LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels’ infrastructure is also okay but facilities are very less. There are no fans in the hostel rooms and so many extra things which we require on a regular basis are not present.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of our college is very good. College environment is one of the best I would say but there is one problem in our college that the water supply is not permanent. Rest all things are good and there is not much to complain. The academic block is very beautiful I must say.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of our college is good. There are so many clubs in our college like cultural club, coding club etc. Fests are also conducted in our college like Goonj, which is our main fest, and Josh is our sports fest which is very interesting.

    Overall Rating
    I am pursuing B.Tech degree in CSE from the institute. My overall institute experience is above average. Since it is a Government institute, the fee is very low which is one of the reasons why I am here. It has a very good infrastructure, with magnificent views of ice-covered peaks of Himalayas. There is no medical facility nearby. It is situated in a remote location, and if you need something, you have to go Pauri Market which is 10 km from the institute.     I choose this institute because my JEE rank wasn't very good. When I first saw the college, I really liked it because it was the first B.Tech college I had seen in the mountains, and the administrative block looked nice too. There was no mobile network in the hostel and not much else either. Gradually, I got used to these challenges and started accepting them.
