Pondicherry University: A Beautiful university with freedom and diversity

Overall Rating
I choose this university for its location and diversity and the multidisciplinary course. The campus life of this university is very nice. I will recommend this university if someone wants to enjoy campus life along with studies.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission here you should appear in national level CUET exam for UG and PG. For Ph.D, there are separate exams for it. The examination level is moderate and it’s not too hard to get into this university.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of faculties are from research background and they are known personalities of their field but for teaching department’s staff, scholars and guest faculties are mostly considered. The faculties take classes in starting and then slowly give it to scholars.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are limited to specific departments. Science and MBA students get decent opportunity based on their performance but other students just complete their education and leave university to struggle in real world.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good and maintained and there are around 14 hostels for boys and 12 hostels for girls. Some hostels are old and some are new but most hostels are decent to stay and for food there are 2 messes for boys and 2 messes for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University has lot of modern and old infrastructure and many new department buildings are coming up and new lecture halls have been made but there is no furniture as of now.
 

Campus Rating
Overall university life is balanced the campus life is something you will remember all your life. Academics have bit of struggle for lack of teachers and staff. The crowd is diverse from northeast to south India to north India every community is here. Fests and events are organised here for everyone.
