St Stephen's College: One of the best educational institutions of the nation

Overall Rating
St. Stephen’s College is by far the best educational institution in the country. To be a Stephanian is a matter of immense pride for all junior members of the college. The College is ‘elite’ in the true sense of the word. Life at St. Stephen’s College is truly enriching and words aren’t enough to express how life changes after this transformative experience.
 

Academics Rating
Economics (Hons.) is a highly competitive course. One has to have English and Mathematics in the Common University Entrance Exam to be eligible for this course. I enrolled in this program as I have always been fascinated by the world of economics. Economics, with its many branches, teaches you to think out of the box, or perhaps remodel the box itself. An Economics graduate can go into a plethora of fields and the scope of the degree is virtually unlimited.
 

Faculty Rating
The incomparable faculty is perhaps the crowning achievement of St. Stephen’s College. Our professors are knowledgeable beyond compare. They are stalwarts in their respective fields and we are constantly left amazed at the extent of academic prowess. They are approachable, kind and dedicated academician who have always been there for us. They excel at what they do and expect excellence from all of us as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our Campus Placement Cell is quite active. The college organises workshops and sessions on how to crack case studies and interview rounds with confidence. The Campus Placement Cell continues to be among the best in the country with students bagging exquisite packages from the biggest companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, St. Stephen’s College does have hostel facilities for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
St. Stephen’s College has the biggest campus in Delhi University. Since it offers numerous science courses as well, the College has well equipped labs that offer the best resources. The campus itself is extremely beautiful and well maintained. The cafeteria, mess, common room, AV room, computer labs and lecture theatres are just few of the facilities that St. Stephen’s College has to offer.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life can be hectic, but rewarding. The crowd is possibly the coolest crowd in Delhi University. The clubs and societies are the most reputed in the country, with our fests being the most highly awaited fests in Delhi University.

    My experience at St. Stephen’s College was transformative and enriching. I chose this college because of its reputation for academic excellence and vibrant campus life. I had heard a lot of positive things about Stephens from my seniors and teachers back in school.   • St. Stephens college gave me perceptiveness and confidence

    I still remember the date and it was 18th of July 2016 which was my 1st day at the college. I was keeping my head down so that no senior stops me for an intro. However, no one can escape but be a part of orientation program which was short though. Once the program got over, the notes were exchanged and we got to meet our professors.     St. Stephens College of DU needs no introduction as it is one of the best colleges of DU. There are a lot of factors because of which I love St. Stephens College. One of the main reasons is its campus. The faculty were editors of many books such as Dr. Mahesh Gopalan and one of the most decorated faculty of the college is none other than Dr. Manmohan Singh’s daughter Upinder Singh.
