A Review on DSCE, Coimbatore

Overall Rating
The atmosphere around the college is magnificent. It is also registered as an autonomous college from 2024 to 2034. Students with nil arrears till 6th semester get referral to work or to be an intern with top companies. I have secured and internship at BMW.
 

Academics Rating
Fee concession is provided for students according to 12th marks. Each department has its own laboratory for practical sessions with necessary equipment and instruments. College believes in providing experience along with the academics which is why it keeps conducting the events like industrial visit, voluntary medical camps (for Biomedical students), etc. in between the academic sessions.
 

Faculty Rating
Staffs members are very nice and friendly as they assist students whenever it is required. All of them are well-qualified with the experience of more than five years. Faculty members also conduct assessment test accordingly and give great advises about life.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college provides placement to the students. Apart from this, it also conducts separate internship training sessions for the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, DSCE provides accommodation facilities. Four people stay in each room and share a common washroom. All the rooms are furnished with basic living amenities like bed, table, chair and shelf for each student. Non-vegetarian food is available 3 times a week. Gym facilities are also available. Girls’ hostel is inside the campus and boys’ hostel is outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
DSCE has two buildings currently excluding hostel and canteen. Each department has their own labs for every department. New building is under construction. Basketball court, football ground, badminton court are present in the college. The college also has a well stocked library.
 

Campus Rating
The college organizes multiple fests and events throughout the year. Some of the events are food fest (which is conducted occasionally), Tech fest, expo, cultural events and annual day. Special event called ‘Science Days’ is conducted once a year that goes on for 2 to 3 days. Festivals like Onam and Pongal is celebrated lavishly. Students of different culture live together and bring unity to the campus. The campus is completely ragging free.

    Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Students from Kerala and Tamil Nadu take admission here. I am from Palakkad, Kerala so it is easy for me to travel and get there. The college provides transportation facilities for convenience to attend the lectures.     Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is such an amazing college and has a good & positive atmosphere. There are a lot of experienced faculties here. It is a well-disciplined college, and no sort of ragging is entertained inside the campus. Well maintained laboratories and new equipment are available in the campus for us to get hands on learning experience.     The college provides a peaceful environment to the students for their studies and extracurricular activities. The faculties are friendly and they provide full support in our studies .The infrastructure of the college is good.
