An Overview of DIT University, Dehradun

Overall Rating
DIT University is very good university in the private sector. This has a good and friendly campus with no ragging. The fee structure is about3 LPA and its hostel fee is about 1.4 LPA.
 

Academics Rating
The minimum requirement for getting admission in B.Tech is to get minimum 60% and above mark in the 12th board exam. This university also offers some scholarships on the basis of the marks obtained in 12th standard and has special scholarship for in-state students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very cooperative in nature. They teach through modern tools and also give practical knowledge in labs. You can ask your doubt at anytime with any of the faculty. Most of the faculty members have completed their Masters and some are even Ph.D degree holders.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, DIT University has a placement cell. Approximately 70% of students get placement through in-campus placement in B.Tech.
 

Hostel Rating
DIT provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. Hostels are very good but the food/ mess quality is average. Students can also opt to stay outside the campus in PGs and rented hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has many buildings like Vendata (main offices), Vivekananda for canteen and many other buildings. It has separate food court and has playground for playing games like basketball, TT, badminton, cricket, volleyball and many more.
 

Campus Rating
The university has many clubs for many activities according to the student’s interest. There are many events like freshers, sport day, etc. A grand fest called ‘Youthopia is held between the months of October to November. The fests are very enjoyable and you can basically have your best time with your friends and also with family members.

    The best part about the college is definitely the location. The view and weather around is always great and there are many places that students visit all around the year.     DIT University is located in the Old Mussoorie Road in Dehradun. It is a well known university and is famous its degree in B.Tech. My overall experience in this college is satisfactory and the education system is one of the finest in the city.
